Looking forward to the Official 49ers Draft Party. Follow my live tweets @49ersFaithful direct from the Draft Party this Saturday, April 25th.
Also, for fantasy implications on Draft Day follow our draft day updates @champcast
49ers.com announced:
The event will feature live ESPN coverage of the draft on four giant video screens.49ers Head Coach Mike Nolan will address fans in attendance after the 49ers make their first round selection (11th overall). Fans also can expect current players, alumni, Gold Rush Cheerleaders and Sourdough Sam to be on hand to sign autographs throughout the day. The players will participate in a question-and-answer session on stage with the event MCs, former 49ers linebacker Gary Plummer and the voice of the 49ers Joe Starkey.
In addition 49ers inflatable games, sponsor booths, prize giveaways and concessions will be available. Party-goers also will have the opportunity to take pictures with one of the team’s Super Bowl trophies.

Personally, i’m most excited for the unveiling of the new 49ers 2009 uniforms. Everyone has been leading eachother to believe they will be of vintage styling, but I think we’re going to be in for a suprise. I’ve drawn up new uniform sets before, and feel that they could be emboldened by adding more black or charcoal color.
New coach. New voice of the 49ers. New uniforms. All will be unveiled at the 49ers draft party on April 25 at the Santa Clara Convention Center. The free event runs from noon to 4 p.m. on the opening day of the draft.
The new threads — believed to be similar to the “throwbacks” the team has worn in recent seasons — will be displayed before the draft begins. After the 49ers make their selection in the first round, head coach Mike Singletary will arrive at the convention center to address the crowd. Current and former players also will be on hand for a Q&A that will be mc’d by radio announcers Gary Plummer and Ted Robinson, who is taking over for longtime play-by-play man Joe Starkey.
I’ll certainly update @49ersFaithful with twitpics once they are unveiled.
